My Mother

A Saga

The death of the sister who shared her bed

January 01, 2014  /  Raquel Angel

You were a natural oracle.
You knew the magic of a murmur, the rustle of dreams,
Maybe because they were weightless as yourself.
One night you told me:
I'll leave the voices to you.
Sister. You took with you the lightness.
I have no whispers left in my mouth.
